A study group of ushebti fragments detailing manufacture methods and materials; from various periods, including the bust of a fine example in blue glazed faience with purple-black painted details holding a hoe in one hand and a rope in the other leading over the shoulder to a basket on the reverse, 21st Dynasty (M1069); the upper section of a blue-glazed faience ushebti of typical Ptolemaic type; the upper section of a sculpted ushebti in pale green (almost white) faience with well modeled facial features and implements, LP, 27-30 Dynasty (M1058); the upper section of a mummiform ushebti in clay with a white wash. The face is worn away although the back side shows a good basket and headband and exhibits well from behind, Third Intermediate Period, 21-22 Dynasty; found near Ramose at Thebes, Bjuggren coll. (M1163); the upper section of an ushebti in dark greenish-blue faience for a woman with traces of an inscription, New Kingdom, 19-20 Dynasty (M1164
