This type of larger stone Udjat are often used as funerary amulets. Intact and in perfect condition. Late Period. (M1354) B/ A group of six smaller Udjat eye amulets in black and white speckled diorite strung together. Several of these are exquisite. L: 7.5-9 mm. Minor chips to some. Late Period. (M855ab, M856, M1483a-c) Acquired 1997-2006 from US collections. Diorite is the hardest material sculpted by the ancient Egyptians.
