A Group of Faience Ushebtis. 1. A medium sized mummiform ushebti in green faience (mostly gone brown) with well modeled details to the face, ears and beard and faintly modeled implements and hands. Integral base and dorsal column; uninscribed. Intact, H: 10.4 cm. From a Swedish coll. originally purchased at Stockholms Auktionsverk in the early 1990s. Acquired for present collection in 2008. (M1571) 2. A mummiform ushebti in yellowish-brown faience with stylized features reminiscent of a WWII gasmask and protruding fists. Shown standing on an integral base. Intact.
