Three ushebti, one from the Ramesseum and two others: 1. A mummiform ushebti in dark greenish-blue faience with black painted details to the wig, hoes, basket and inscription underneath the final glaze. Old label on back of the same type found on ushebtis from the Ramesseum group excavated by Quibell (see others for sale in this auction). More research needed. Third Intermediate Period, 22nd Dynasty. Intact and in very good condition, although inscription illegible. H: 9.5 cm. Charles Ede Ltd. London 1992. (M252) 2. A mummiform ushebti in fired Nile silt fabric with a white wash. Flat backed type with cursory molded features and details painted in black to the eyes, fillet, basket, hoes and framed inscription down the front which is mostly illegible. Third Intermediate Period, 23rd Dynasty. Chip to foot, otherwise intact, worn. H: 8.4 cm. Astarte Gallery, London 1994. (M415) 3.
