Coptic manuscript pages

A Group of Coptic Manuscript Pages. Three pages from Coptic religious manuscripts. The first shows 11 lines of Coptic Uncial Script in dark brown with some red and four red commentary lines in Arabic. The reverse of the page has 12 lines of Coptic and two in Arabic. On laid paper with watermark. 16th-17th Century AD. 247 x 177 mm. The second similar leaf shows 15 lines of Coptic Uncial Script in dark brown and red ink with a marginal commentary in Arabic (similar on reverse). On heavy laid paper. 16th-17th Century AD. 230 x 158 mm. A third leaf shows 18 lines of Arabic script, although the content is Christian and there is a Coptic cross decoration in the margin (similar on reverse). 220 x 150 mm.
