SLOTH, born in Helsinki 1977, currently living and working in Stockholm, Untitled lightpainting 1, photography, 1/3, 40x60cm. Paintings are made without using any color, only with light, so that immediately as the artwork is being made it vanishes like it never even existed. The illusion of something solid only exists on the photograph capturing the action. Nothing was changed, nothing was lost, nothing was gained. Sloth grew up in Helsinki, Finland where he became a big fan of graffiti after seeing the film Beat Street. Started to make paintings of his own and started doing graffiti 1992 and still do. Sloths use different techniques as paint, textiles, photographs, sounds and film for his art.
