Interesting Swedish atlas

MENTZER, THURE ALEXANDER, VON (1807-1892). Atlas öfver Sveriges län jemte statistiska uppgifter. Norrköping 1869. Oblong folio (270x4398). 1 large folding printed table, 26 pages of text, 24 coloured lithograph maps (all). Original blue cloth, somewhat worn. Title with small tear in lower margin.. Mentzer was involved in the production of a number of Swedish atlases in the second half of the 19th century. In 1856 he published his famous historic atlas of Sweden and a few years later in 1860 he published a world atlas in folio, with several editions to be printed. He also joined forces with C. F. Wiberg to publish a historical world atlas in folio for the schools, also printed in several editions.
